Willow Creek Adventure Camp has come a long way in 2021! Since officially taking over the management of the site in February 2021 and immediately starting renovations, we can look back now and see the rewards for all our efforts. We have had a full calendar of bookings for the past 6 months and the continuous positive feedback we receive lets us know we are on to a good thing here at Willow Creek.

Here are some of the camp improvement highlights from the past 12 months.

This time last year, we had just completed the construction of our new driveway. We had already completed extensive upgrades to the main buildings in 2020 including painting, resurfacing the floors, installing the new kitchen, and renovating the teacher’s cottage.

We then turned our focus to creating an exceptional outdoor education camp with the ability to offer numerous on-site outdoor activities. This included building a 5km mountain bike trail, setting up multiple orienteering courses, adding a climbing frame and team building structure plus the work we put into our very own dam so we could run raft building activities. We also put in a volleyball net, disc golf, bocce court, giant chess/checkers, and only recently completed an additional fire pit on top of our Solitude Hill. And we still have more to come!
